This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by
Bob, WB2CJL, Bob, AA1M, Joe, NJ1Q, Chod, VP2ML, The DX Bulletin,
Bob, WB2YQH, and Contest Corral from QST magazine.  Thanks to all.
 
CRETE, SV9.  HA0HW, HA0ET and HA0DU will be operating SV9/ from May
9 to 16.  Bands to be used are 160 through 10 meters, and modes will
be CW, SSB and RTTY.  QSL all three via HA0HW.
 
COMOROS, D6.  IK2GNW will be active for one week, including a stint
in the International ARI DX Contest May 6 and 7.  He should be
operating before and after the contest period.  Plans call for
activity on 160, 80 and 40 meters, and the WARC bands.  QSL via home
call.
 
MADEIRA ISLANDS, CT3.  DL5MAE and DL6RAI plan to be up and running
with a multi-mode DXpedition May 5 to 29.  Hopes are to be on 160
through 2 meters and operate CW, SSB, RTTY, satellites, PacTOR EME
and meteor scatter.  Listen for their CW 33 kHz up from the band
edges.  They will use a yet to be released special call sign for the
CQ WW WPX Contest May 27 and 28.
 
KERMADEC, ZL8.  Barry, G4MFW, will be operating from here May 5 to
15.  He plans to transmit on 3798, 7080, 14195, 14260 and 21295 kHz,
QSX up.  QSL via KA1JC.
 
RWANDA, 9X.  Mark, ON4WW, will be active until the end of June.
Check 3513 kHz at 2015z and 1827 kHz at 0030z, listening up.  QSL
via ON5NT.
 
QSL NOTES.  Bob, AA1M, reports that US5MV is the QSL Manager for
JW0E.  All direct QSL requests should include one IRC and a SASE.
The Radio Club of Venezuela will start processing QSL requests for
the July 1994 YW0RCV DXpedition on May 15.  The RCV Board of
Directors apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience.
 
NEW DX NEWSLETTER.  Bob, WB2YQH, introduced The 59(9) DX Report at
the Dayton Hamvention last weekend.  
 
THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The Connecticut QSO Party, sponsored by
the Candlewood ARA, is a phone and CW event that runs from 2000z May
6 to 2000z May 7, with a rest period from 0400 to 1200z.  Exchange
report and ARRL section, province or DXCC country.  Connecticut
stations will send report and county.  W1AW will be on the air in
the contest from 1400 to 2000z May 6.  Work your HQ station for
bonus points.
 
The Massachusetts QSO Party, sponsored by the Framingham ARA, runs
from 1800z May 6 to 0400z May 7, and 1100 to 2100z May 7.  Exchange
signal report and state, province or DXCC country.  Massachusetts
stations will send signal report and county.
 
The Danish SSTV Contest, sponsored by the Danish SSTV Group, is from
0000z May 6 to 2400z May 7.
 
And the MARAC County Hunters CW Contest, sponsored by the Mobile
Amateur Radio Awards Club, runs from 0000z May 6 to 2400z May 7.
Exchange serial number, station catagory (either home or mobile),
signal report, county, state, or province or DXCC country.
