ALGERIA, 7X. Members of the Amateurs Radio Algerians Club are QRV

WEST MALAYSIA, 9M2. Members of the Melaka DX Club are QRV as 9M2MI
from Pulau Undan Island, IOTA AS-097, and from Lighthouse ILLW
MY0017, until August 22. Activity is on 80 to 10 meters using CW,

CUBA, CO. A group of operators will be QRV as T47LH from Sabinal
Key, IOTA NA-015, from the Colon Lighthouse, ILLW CU0007, during the
International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend. Activity will be on 160
to 10 meters, including 60 and 2 meters, using CW, SSB and various

URUGUAY, CX. A group of operators are QRV as CV5ER from Flores
Island, IOTA SA-030, and from the Lighthouse Faro de la Isla de
Flores, ILLW UY0009, during the International Lighthouse/Lightship

ST. PAUL ISLAND, CY9. A group of operators are QRV as CY9C until
August 29. Activity is on 160 to 10 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY

FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY, DA. Look for DL0MFK/LH to be QRV from
Usedom Island, IOTA EU-129, and from the Lighthouse Karnin, ILLW

BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA, E7. Special event station E717MFF will be QRV
from Siroki Brijeg from August 23 to 28 during the 17th

QRV from the Burry Port Harbour Lighthouse, ILLW UK0044, during the
International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend. Activity will be on the

from the Miraflores Lighthouse at the Miraflores Locks, Panama Canal
Pacific Entrance during the International Lighthouse/Lightship

OGASAWARA, JD1. Members of the Japan Amateur Radio Development
Association will be QRV with special call JD1YBV from Chichijima
Island, IOTA AS-031, from August 23 to 28 to commemorate the

Lighthouse, ILLW TR0002, during the International
Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend. Activity will be on various HF bands.

BELIZE, V3. Victor, WB0TEV is QRV as V31VP until August 23. This
includes entries in the SARTG RTTY Contest and the North American

CANADA, VE. Rick, VE9LEP will be QRV from the Long Eddy Point
Lighthouse at the northern tip of Grand Manan Island, IOTA NA-014,
in the Bay of Fundy during the International Lighthouse/Lightship

AUSTRALIA, VK. A group of operators will be QRV as VK5CWL from
Kangaroo Island, IOTA OC-139, and from the Cape Willoughby
Lighthouse, ILLW AU-0095, during the International

Point Lighthouse, ILLW IN0005, during the International

SOUTH AFRICA, ZS. A group of operators will be QRV as ZS9V from
Robben Island, IOTA AF-064, during the International
Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend. Activity will be with two stations.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. ARRL RTTY Rookie Roundup, ARRL 10 GHz
and Up Contest, International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend, North
American SSB QSO Party, QRP 20-Meter CW Fox Hunt, NCCC RTTY Sprint,
NCCC CW Sprint, SARTG World Wide RTTY Contest, Russian District
Award Contest, Himalayan Contest, Feld Hell Sprint, CVA DX CW
Contest and the SARL HF Digital Contest will certainly keep
contesters busy this upcoming weekend.
The Run for the Bacon QRP CW Contest is scheduled for August 22.
The CWops Mini-CWT CW Test, Phone Fray and SKCC CW Sprint are all
scheduled for August 24.
The ARRL National Parks on the Air event runs during all of 2016 to
mark the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service.
