This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by
NC1L, the OPDX Bulletin, DXNL, 425 DX News, The Daily DX, Contest
Corral from QST and the ARRL Contest Calendar and WA7BNM web sites.

GEORGIA, 4L.  Andy, UU4JMG is QRV as 4L/homecall and is usually
active on 160 meters around 2200 to 0300z, as well as 40 and 20
meters using CW.  QSL to home call.

CHINA, BY.  Operators BD3BXH/2, BG3DCI/2 and BG3DDB/2 will be QRV
from Juhua Island, IOTA AS-151, from December 10 to 13.  Activity
will be on 80 to 10 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY.  QSL via BD3BXH.

Rarotonga, IOTA OC-013, until December 9.  Activity will be on 80 to
10 meters using CW.  QSL to home call.

IRAN, EP.  Moshen, EP3SMH is generally active using RTTY on 20
meters around 1400z.

CROZET ISLAND, FT/W.  Florentin, F4DYW will be QRV as FT5WO from the
French Alfred Faure Base, IOTA AF-008, from December 8 to November
30, 2009.  Activity will be mostly on 40, 20 and 15 meters and
possibly 80 meters.  QSL direct.

Rob, HK3CW are QRV as 5K0CW from San Andres Island, IOTA NA-033,
until December 12.  This includes an entry in the ARRL 160 Meter
contest.  QSL via W5PF.

GUINEA-BISSAU, J5.  Peter, HA3AUI is QRV as J5UAP and has been
active on 20 meters around 0830z and 17 meters around 1010z.  QSL to
home call.

ANTARCTICA.  Helmuth, W6KDX is staying on Amundsen-Scott South Pole
station until Jan 5, 2009 and if time permits may be active as
KC4AAA.  Activity will mainly be on 20 meters SSB.  QSL via K1IED.
HAWAII, KH6.  Kan, JA1BK will be QRV as KH6BK from Oahu during the
ARRL 160 Meter contest.  QSL to home call.

AMERICAN SAMOA, KH8.  Paul, A35RK is QRV as KH8/KK6H until December
9.  Activity will be mainly on 20 meters using CW and SSB around
0600 to 0700z.  QSL via W7TSQ.

US VIRGIN ISLANDS, KP2.  Jerry, WA2TTI is QRV as KP2/homecall from
St. Croix until December 10.  This includes an entry in the ARRL 160
Meter contest.  QSL to home call.

FINLAND, OH.  Special even station OH9SCL is active from Santa Claus
Land at the Arctic Circle.  Activity is on 160 to 10 meters using
CW, SSB and digital modes.  QSL via OH9UV.

BRAZIL, PY.  Special event station ZY7EAM is active until December 7
in celebration of Sailor Day.  Activity is on 160 to 10 meters using
CW and SSB.  QSL via PY7GK.

TURKEY, TA.  Urcun, TA0U and others are QRV as TC12AKUT until
December 12 from skiing area Kartepe in celebration of the 12th
anniversary of the Turkish Search and Rescue Association.   QSL via

CANADA, VE.  Art, N3DXX is QRV as VY2/homecall from Prince Edward
Island during the ARRL 160 Meter contest.  QSL to home call.

INDIA, VU.  Operators VU3FRK, VU3RSB, VU2BGS and VU3KET and other
operators are QRV as AT2RS from Nachugunta, a new IOTA, until
December 7.  North and South American hams QSL via W3HNK and all
others via DL4KQ.

CAMBODIA, XU.  John, 9M6XRO will be QRV as XU7XRO from Kompong Som
from December 10 to 18.  Activity will be on 160 to 10 meters using
CW, SSB and RTTY.  QSL via M0URX.

INDONESIA, YB.  Adhi, YB3MM/9 is QRV from Timor Island, IOTA OC-148,
until December 7.  If conditions permit, he may also be active from
Semau Island, IOTA OC-241.  QSL via IZ8CCW.
VENEZUELA, YV.  Members of the 4M5DX group will be QRV as YW1TI from
Toas Island, IOTA SA-066, from December 9 to 12.  Activity will be
on all bands using CW, SSB and possibly RTTY.  QSL via IT9DAA.

OPERATIONS APPROVED FOR DXCC CREDIT.  The following operations are
approved for DXCC credit:  Wake Island, WA2YUN/KH9, operations
commencing 2007; Willis Island, VK9DWX, 2008 operation, and Andaman
and Nicobar Island, VU4RG, 2008 operation.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The ARRL 160-Meter Contest, NCCC Sprint,
TARA RTTY Melee, Wake-Up.  QRP CW Sprint and TOPS Activity CW
Contest are all scheduled for this weekend.  The NAQCC Straight
Key/Bug CW Sprint is scheduled for December 10.  Please see December
