The Decatur (Alabama) Amateur Radio Club was founded in 1953. We provide SkyWarn support and emergency communications support to our county EMA.
Our biggest event of the year is Field Day, but we also support the Boy Scouts (JOTA) and other groups needing communications assistance.
We recently began providing license testing by appointment.
