Founded in 2001 in the wake of the September 11 terrorist attacks as a result of students requesting what they could do to assist their community.
Over the years we have introduced dozens of students to the magic of amateur radio and had many students licensed. We have also received national recognition for community service projects. As technology has evolved, so has our membership, now focused highly on digital communications. Our membership has grown to a high in 2017 of 23.
