- July 31 to Aug 4, 2013 - EAA AirVenture 2013. The Fox Cities Amateur Radio Club will once again operate a Special Event station from the grounds of the EAA AirVenture 2013. We will operate 5 days -- Wednesday through Sunday, during the last week of July (July 31 thru Aug 04,2013). This operating event is open to all license classes. We will operate 2 HF stations, one on 20m and one on 40m, plus local communications on 2-meters. The club call, W9ZL, will be used throughout the event. April 20 & 21, 2013 - 8am - 6pm * * Technician Class * * Outagamie County A.R.E.S. Is conducting a Technician Class to be held at American Red Cross building, 1302 E. Wisconsin Avenue, Appleton, WI. Bring Lunch, snacks, soda, paper, pens, and a small calculator. Pre-registration is not required but is appreciated. Please contact Jon Kreski at 920 – 749 – 1041. The Technician amateur radio license exam will be held at 8 am at the same location on Saturday April 27, 2013.

Park St., Madison, Is holding a single weekend Technician Class using the ARRL Technician Class License Manual, pre-study is recommended. A license exam session follows the workshop.
