Application for Emergency Liaison Station Designation

If you are interested in being designated as an ARRL Emergency Liaison Station (ELS), please comlete the application below. Once the application is received, we will verify that you have your Section Manager's recommendation and HQ staff will review your application. You will then be informed on the status of your application.

Do you have a high speed internet connection? *

Do you have a primary and back up HF transceiver capable of operation of 80, 40, and 20 meter bands? *

Do you have a computer in your station capable of interfacing to your HF transceiver as described in the article on how to set up http://www.arrl.org/files/file/Public%20Service/Echolink20HF2029.pdf *

How would you describe your proficiency with Echolink? *

Are you capable of serving as a control operator for long periods of time? *

This application will be sent to the ARRL's Emergency Preparedness Manager for review. If you are selected as an ELS you and your Section Manager will be notified and additional instructions will follow.
