• Completion of EC-001 (old or new version)
• Completion of FEMA IS-100, 200, 700 and 800
• Must be 18 years of age with Technician or higher license
• ARRL member
• Recommendation of Section Manager

All volunteers who wish to serve in the capacity as a Field Instructor with ARRL’s Emergency Communications training program must renew their registration with us.

Please note: volunteers who have completed the Public Service and Emergency Communications Management (EC-016) course have met all of the requirements to serve as a Field Instructor and need only inform us that they wish to serve in that capacity.
