Commemorating Old Fort Clark. A US Army Fort built to protect the stage route from San Antonio to El Paso, TX. The Fort was decommissioned right after WWII. Famous commanders here were Jonathan Wainright and George Patton among many others. Today Fort Clark Springs is a community that occupies the old fort. Many residents have served in the military and the fort continues to honor its past each year with the Fort Clark Fesitval.
