MS COMMUNICATIONS UPDATE

Greetings once again Fellow Communicators, We wanted to update all of you on the MS Events, and the Communications Team. First, unfortunately due to time constraints, Carmen (KE3QB) has stepped down as the Communications Coordinator. Fortunately for us, he has not left us, but remains as part of the Communications Operations Team which is handling all facets of communications for the MS and other Special Events. We will always benefit from his years of experience and dedication. With this in mind, we ask that going forward, that you discontinue sending emails and snail mails to Carmen, and direct them as follow: All Snail Mail is being received at: MS EVENT COMMUNICATIONS C/O: KATHY STAFFORD (AB2LF) 128 STONEHAM DRIVE GLASSBORO, NJ 08028 All Emails are to be sent to: N3MSS@MAIL.com OR MS.EVENTCOMMUNICATIONS@YAHOO.COM Now, Event Business: 1) The need for communicators at Walk Sites has been updated by the Society. Attached to this email you will find an updated Walks Sign-Up form with new verbiage and the listing of the only 5 sites that will be using communicators. 2) Also attached to this email, you will find a new Society updated MS150 Sign-up form with new verbiage and the t-shirt form at the end. If you have already sent in your forms for this year’s events, you DO NOT need to fill out new forms. The forms that we received for this year will be used, but if you are forwarding forms to folks who may not be on our mailing lists, please use the new attached forms. The MS 150 paper form is also accessible from the MS society web site, or using this URL link: http://nationalmssociety.org/HAMS (There will be an On-Line MS150 Sign-up Form available soon) Those communicators that volunteered for deleted walk sites will be contacted about working a current site. Once again, we are desperately trying to bolster our ranks. If you know of anyone who might be interested in volunteering, please forward this information to them. Only our dedicated rank and file can help us reach our goals in helping to end the devastating effects of this horrible disease. With much Thanks and Respect as always, 73, MS EVENT COMMUNICATIONS TEAM
