FCC CORES Registration Instructions

Visit the FCC Web site to get your ULS/CORES number
To register your SSN and receive a FRN, choose the "REGISTER" link.
For Register Type, choose to register as an Individual and press Continue.
If you are registering as a non-US citizen, click “No” under the question, “Is your contact address within the United States or its territories?"
Complete the registration form, filling out all of the information on the form. If you do not fill out all of the necessary fields, you will not be able to continue.
Once you have filled out the form, and have chosen a password, click submit.
Your FRN will appear at the top of the page in bold. Print this page for your records, or write down your FRN and store it in a secure place. Below the blue box on the confirmation page, there will be a sentence that starts, “Amateurs, Aircraft, Marine, Antenna Structure Registration (ASR)…”
Below this sentence is a link that says, “FCC Universal Licensing System.” Click on this link.Proceed to ULS License Manager by clicking on the "ULS License Manager" link.
Enter your FRN number FCC assigned to you and your password to log in.
Under the “Associate your FRN with existing licenses" heading, choose “Associate.”
Enter your call sign in the first box, then hit "Continue". Clink on "Confirm", then click on "Return to License Manager".
You will now be able to renew or update your license in ULS.
