Information from the Nevada Counties:

Clark County
Our monthly training session reviewed how to use the Form ICS-213 ]. It was a good review in anticipation of our team being utilized for the April 23 TREMOR-14 full scale exercise. Also, Steve Deveny, KF7WGL and Jim Bassett, W1RO, drove to different parts of the Vegas Valley to test the efficiency of mobile NVIS antennas with several Las Vegas area ARES members checking in and giving reports, most of which were very positive. At least one ARES member, Bob Romans, AF7NV, provided communications support for the Baker-to-Vegas run.
Bill Smith, W7HMV, EC

Lincoln County:
We had 2 planning meetings to discuss a Ham Cram and the
forming of a club.
We had 4 new Technicians from the Ham Cram.
We had 1 upgrade from General to Extra;  LEE W. HONE EC K7NKH

Churchill County:
ARCC and our ARES arm continue to train, and prepare. ICS training classes, and courses, and proctice Traffic Handeling are an on-going staple of the ARCC.
Bob Clifford, KF7LSM, has assumed the position of Emergency Coordinator, Churchill County. Bob is hitting the ground running, and will serve our county well. Good luck, Bob
Richard C. Bischoff K7ET, ADEC

Douglas County:

Thank you, Dale, KJ6IX, for your service as Douglas County EC. Glad you will still be at the helm for packet and other DCART operations in between your hosting/camping assignment.   I will try my hand at being the Douglas County ARES Emergency Coordinator.   Our DCART Monday evening nets are still on the 146.655 repeater pl 131.8 at 1830 hours as we test and check the coverage, especially for our team members. This repeater, along with the 147.330 pl 123 are the ones used for Alpine County operations such as the annual Death Ride event.   LeRoy, KA7UIS, will probably still staff the 147.270 pl 123 during our nets to take checkins who cannot reach the other one. The 147.270 repeater is still key for Douglas County planning.   73, Sheila Clement, KA7AJQ ARES EC, Douglas and Alpine Counties 775-267-3216
