Harold Kramer, WJ1B
Harold Kramer of Cheshire, Connecticut joined the ARRL as Chief Operating Officer in 2005.
Before joining ARRL, Harold was the Chief Technology Officer at Connecticut Public Broadcasting, Inc.in Hartford. Prior to his position at Connecticut Public Broadcasting, he spent 25 years in the cable television and television production industries.
On the Amateur Radio side he is a lifelong ham with his principal focus on emergency communications He is an ARRL Life Member and the former Amateur Radio Emergency Coordinator (EC) for Cheshire, Connecticut. His FCC assigned call sign is WJ1B.
He has been an adjunct faculty member at many local colleges, principally teaching communications and electronics.
He holds an AAS degree in Electronic Technology from The University of Hartford, and a BA in English and an MA in Education from the University of Connecticut.
