Online Course Registration

How to enroll in an ARRL online course:

Before registering please review the information provided on our online course overview page where you will find FAQs, Policies for Online Courses and full course descriptions.

Register - To register you must be logged in to the ARRL website, as either a member or guest, by using the "Login" button on the top of each page (or click here). If you are not already a member or guest you can set up an online account

  • To register scroll down and select the appropriate course

Withdraw - If you have registered for an ARRL online course and would like to withdraw, submit the form below:

    • The Learning Center (LC) platform is hosted apart from our main www.arrl.org website. You may want to allow cookies and cross-site tracking, so the LC does not require your login credentials repeatedly. Cross-site tracking selections and cookie options can be found in your web browser's settings. You may have to use a search engine to determine how your individual settings can be configured.

Introduction to Emergency Communication

Course Overview:

  • EC-001 courses follow the schedule listed in the Registration section below. To learn more about the course, including pre-requisites, click here
  •  EC-001 is offered in an on-demand format and can be started and completed at any time. No additional course materials are needed.
  • Completion of EC-001 is required for completion of the Level 2 portion of the Amateur Radio Emergency Service® (ARES) Emergency Communicator Individual Task Book. To download a free copy of the Task Book: http://www.arrl.org/ares
