2004 ARRL Straight Key Night

09/27/2004 | W0AA SKN is an excellent opportunity to flex those CW muscles. For many, the 'code' is a relic of history. A large number of hams understand the value in using CW and enjoy the mode exclusively.

During the 2004 running of 'SKN,' the Minnesota Wireless Association sponsored a trophy to any "non-CW-op" within its 175 mile contest circle, that would complete at least 10 QSOs during SKN. Contestants are judged based on the number (at least 10) and the quality of QSOs. Perhaps most importantly, did the participant have fun.

Check out the details on the club's website: http://www.w0aa.org

The 2005 rules will be similar to 2004. -- N0FP
