02/18/2002 | WA1Z What a blast! Good condx! Working VR2BG was definitely the highlight. Used a pair of phased collinear verticals on 15 and a 40 Meter full wave loop on 40, 20 and 10. Still putting up antennas. I'm not a serious contester by any means, but did manage my best score ever in any contest -- a little over 500,000 points -- operating on 40-10! I finished with a little over 680 Qs with 248 multis. I used to do contests a lot when I was a kid, now getting back into it!!! -- WA1Z
