Greer Amateur Radio Club, Lake Robinson, Verne Smith Park, Greer, SC
Friday evening set up required mask, fins and snorkels. It rained over 2 inches the first hour. By dark we had the tower up and guyed. Saturday was a different story! Saturday morning we had the TH6DX yagi up along with the dipoles. We worked the satellite on the 2nd pass and had a FB P5 ATV two way transmission with N4AK who was about 20 miles away! We worked all states and ended up with over 860 confirmed contacts. The club and its Field Day participants had a great time. Many non licensed visitors visited and were quite impressed. Thanks ARRL for sponsoring a great contest!
