09/13/2004 | W1AUV/R Another great contest and the weather was great too.

I made it to FN42, FN32, FN23, FN33 and FN22. Only a minor family emergency forced me to miss FN31 at the end of the contest.

I need what most rovers need: better locations. Also, many cities and states need to start trimming trees on the sides of roads and on mountains. People (and antennas) need the views! I'm bringing my chain saw next time.

Thanks to everyone who struggled with me for some of the contacts (especially 6 meters where the radio or the antennas (or both) failed me again).

I'm now looking forward to freezing half to death in January! -- W1AUV
