11/26/2004 | N1FOJ The group took over the home of Dale, AF1T, to put the N1FOJ effort on the air. The group consisted of John N1FOJ, Mike W1YVM, Dale AF1T, Mikey W1MKY and Murph WA1VKO. We were active on all bands 10 through 80 meters and actually had 3 calls on the air during the weekend. Our main station, N1FOJ had almost 900 contacts with a clean sweep finally on Sunday evening when KL1V spent about 7 minutes with us so we could put Alaska in the log for the sweep. Thanks for hanging in there with us. Also thanks to KD6WW for our 79th section in the NT. Dale, AF1T, also completed what has become an annual goal for him. He was able to work his 3rd " 80 sections in 80 contacts" phone SS clean sweep. Now that takes some effort. Try it some time if you don't think so. W1MKY, Mickey was also on with her call and came up 4 or 5 sections short of a clean sweep with her call. She did work Deleware and Alaska however to complete her WAS. All in all a fun and productive weekend. Look for W1MKY next year as the main station so we can get her a clean sweep of her own.
