12/08/2004 | N9ADG Was only able to work the last 15 hours of the contest. The best 160m contest yet! Tried 100w into a 1/4w blimp-supported vertical, ~450ft unterminated "beverage" due east for RX. Worked almost everything I could hear. Highlights were VI, JA and JT mults. Heard ME a couple of times, but no RI, LA, or WY. Lowlight was finding the wind picked up and snapped the vertical wire during rain and sleet. It wasn't fun running outside, pulling it down, splicing it, and putting it back up. At 0115 local time.
