Operating from a "state-of-the-art" RV (1968 Ultravan) has its challenges. With electricity supplied by batteries and a gasoline generator, and connected to a 625 foot square horizontal loop antenna installed 10 to 30 feet high, I survived until early Sunday morning before I fled the remoteness and cold back to civilization. Can conditions get any worse? I've never worked so hard to catch a few DX stations. Now if I was to remove the air conditioner on the roof, I'll bet I could install a telescoping tower through the hole complete with a real antenna....... -- VE7HA
