12/13/2004 | K6SGH All in all, this year's 10 meter contest was better than last. Conditions were certainly better, however, quite odd. Whenever I pointed my beam north, i made southern contacts, when i pointed east, i made western contacts. So be it I said! Such is life eh?

Otherwise, I had a lot of fun making about 400 contacts. This was the first year I used a voice keyer. What a difference. Certainly kept my brain from decomposing into a pile of mush like it did when I made 1100 contacts in the DX contest NOT using one. Won't do THAT again!! hi hi.

One thing though....no japanese contacts to speak of. I heard plenty of other people making contacts to japan...but not much from the west coast. Very odd....like i said before...odd conditions.
