12/13/2004 | NO4FX I have played around in a few contests before. This is the first time I have submitted a log though. I was very excited when the contest started but soon realized that being QRP on ssb was going to be a lot harder than I thought. I made about 4 contacts right off the bat then my N1MM logger crashed and I lost them. I got frustrated and gave up for awhile. I came back, off and on during the contest. When it was all said and done I had 37 contacts. Not bad when you consider my station. Over all I had a good time.

My station included-

Yaesu ft-840 (turned down to 5 watts)

G5RV at 30 ft. strung up east to west. With a coax run of about 150 ft! -- NO4FX
