12/13/2004 | KC0DEB Even though my free time was very limited, I managed to find a free minute here and there, and made a few contacts this weekend... Since I figured that I wouldn't be able to participate this time, I did not bother to raise the antenna.
So with the wire still draped over the roof, completed 28 SSB Q's - 18 Mults! I blamed the bad conditions on the antenna not being up....or was it really that bad ? Did hear some South American and Carribean Op's work in the upper 1K's..so I'm glad someone had OK conditions.
I still enjoyed it 100%, and hope to be able to participate in the entire contest next year. 73 , a Merry Christmas & Happy Newyear !
