12/14/2004 | KP2/KL7JR Murphy paid me a visit one hour before contest time. Tuner broke down, but luckily my A-99 vertical was resonant enough on the low end of 10 which saved me a lot of work by not having to take the antenna down for trimming. I had several good runs and did a lot better than I thought I would. 650 contacts operating QRP from a US paradise was a blast! West Coast and most of VE not heard. Thanks to all who called me.
