01/08/2005 | KC4AUF This Straight Key Night was very special to me as compared to my first one some 18 years ago. As trustee and contest director of the Dominion DX Group I urged as many club members to participate as possible. I sent out an e-mail with the time and frequency for the SKN sked, 8:00PM (0100 UTC) on Dec. 31. I said that I would call the club call sign K4VAC de KC4AUF so that any DDXG club member could answer. I was pleasantly surprised to work K4PUF Andrew, K4MAU Rob, K4RCK Travis, K4AUR Mike & K4CNF Guy (our club president). Robert W4BNO also worked SKN later. Including myself that brings our total club participation of 50%. I think this speaks well of your club and its desire to keep the art of CW alive now and in years to come.
