01/16/2005 | N7MQ I was only able to operate for just under 10 hours, but had a great time. Newish to RTTY and each contest has one goal, to make more QSO's than prior outing in the same contest, and to spend most of my time running. Rely heavily on suggestions from web site of AA5AU and tips from GU0SUP. Have improved my antennas to include a SteppIR Big Vert on 40 and that antenna really works! Others are Lightning Bolt 2 element quad and 80 meter Gladiator vertical. RTTY contesting really sings! -- N7MQ
