01/24/2005 | W6GMT Great Contest here in California. Lots of contest activity. I ran as a rover again this year. We worked from 9 grids with a tempature variant of 39 with fog in CM95 to a high of 75 in DM15. The rig was my Yaesu FT-847 in to M2 loops on the road, stopped I used am ELK log for 2 and 432, we also used a 6 meter dipole. worked 16 Grids for 222 contacts. Log was kept on a Dell Laptop with N3FJP's contest log 2.5, Grids where checked with a GPS. Best effort heard WW2CQ portable in DM15 nice signal guys.
