Comments:

Flat band conditions and terrible weather made for a long weekend. The day time weather was just above 0 F and at night it was in the minus teens F. With the snow, four wheel drive was required to get to the mountain top site. Understandably, we only worked four rovers.

We had three short opening from FN00. One was to the 8's and VE's,
another was to the 9's. K0HA, EN10, made it into the log on 6m. And just before the end of the contest we caught a short 6m opening to
FL (EL96, EL87, and EL9). We did operate for the full period, this was the first time we didn't shut down in the middle of the night.

Several weeks before the contest the 2m antenna boom broke in an ice storm. Just two days before the contest, there was a break in the
weather and a replacement 2m antenna was installed.

The station description is at www.qrz.com/w3so and the QSL manager is W3TEF.

Look for us in the Spring Sprints and again in ARRL June contest.

For the Wopsononock Mountaintop Operators,
