01/24/2005 | K5IX I was hoping for a LOT better conditions... but it just didnt work out... even so I had a lot of fun making the contacts I could get on 6 meters, 2 meters, 440 and 1 qso on 220 (first time I had tried that band)... Last minute raising of the 2 meter and 440 mhz antennas from 15 foot to 25 foot seems to have made a little difference also...(next contest they go up on the tower ..hi).

Rigs used were an Icom 820h 2m/440mhz all mode and the Yaesu FT-847 (main rig)...
Antennas used were Cushcraft A50-5s, 10 element 2 meter, and 5 element 440mhz...I really need to get better antennas for 2m and 440..future projects...
