02/24/2005 | W0EB First major contest with my QRP Elecraft K2. Managed a couple of 160 meter contacts to the Caribbean before my #22 hookup wire antenna came down in the Kansas winds. Worked S & P the whole contest @ 5 watts. 10 and 15 meters were the best, 20 produced some good ones, and even got a few mults on 40. The K2 (serial# 4xxx) performed flawlessly. Wound up with 100+ Q's and 51 DXCC entities worked.

Now if a bunch of those worked would just post their logs to LOTW, I might even manage DXCC for real - 27 confirmed in LOTW right now, and 21 non-dupe cards on hand for a total of 48 confirmed.
