06/27/2005 | WA4GDN The Gulf Coast Amateur Radio Club's Field Day site has always been visited by an unwelcome visitor year after year. This visitor always makes us hide in our tents, makes us disconnect our radios or threatens to take down our antennas. Fortunately this visitor did not show up this year. Who could this be you ask? RAIN!!!! No rain. Not a drop except the sweat dripping off our foreheads from having a great time this past Field Day. -- K4JHK
