07/01/2005 | K5YM The Durant Amateur Repeater Association set up Field Day operations at Carl Albert Park in Durant, OK. We were across the street from the swimming pool, causing many to wonder what we were up to. We used a Kenwood TS-430 and 520 as our main transmitters using 20M and 40M dipoles. A 3 element beam on 6M using a FT-817 at 5W completed our operations. It was an enjoyable weekend for all involved. -- K5YM
