07/02/2005 | KC5MM This year I participated in Field Day activities from Lake Sylvia,about 35 miles west of Little Rock,Ar.I was in the 1 op,1 battery,qrp category.Antenna used was a 142ft horizontal delta loop,and I managed to make 84 phone contacts in the 96 degree heat that weekend.I also collected bonus points for:emergency power,media publicity,set-up in public place,Information table,NTS message to SM,Field Day message,5 natural power QSOs completed,and submitted FD info via b4h.net applet.All in all a decent effort and great fun. -- KC5MM
