01/03/2006 | WA3JJT This is always a great event! I'm glad it's been extended for 24 hours. I was using a homebrew 1952 Novice Station with a 6L6 transmitter at 25 watts input on 80 and 40, and a single tube 6SN7 regen for receive, complete with a knife switch for T/R. What a blast! Best fist was definitely VA3RMW, Roberta, who has only been licensed for 2 years! Great to have a newcomer sharpen her CW skills! -- WA3JJT
