03/02/2005 | WD5AGO We tried 5.7 GHz again this year, 25 watts at the feed, 2.4M dish, two stage 0.9 dB n/f LNA. This time around we copied a couple of signals along with my first EME QSO on 5.7 GHz. The weather did not help any, while outside under the dish-aiming and TWT amp-switching we had bad storms, with rain moving in, only 2.5 hours of visual moon! And then it was gone, along with the signals, the cold rains came and we threw the plastic bag over the equipment and headed for shelter. Boy I love this stuff! Thanks for a uWave only contest.
