2004 ARRL International EME Competition

03/10/2005 | K1JT This was my first EME contest. Other obligations kept my on-the-air time down to a few hours, and I had only my 4 x 9 el tropo antenna (without elevation control) available for 2m. Nevertheless I had fun during one-hour windows at my time of moon rise and set, and worked a few stations.

I used "spotting assistance" in the form of reading the "JT65 EME Link". My log submission contained the following statement:

####################################################################

Please note: I used internet spotting aids during the contest. Since I believe there is no "assisted" category for this contest, perhaps my log should be treated as a checklog?

With the proviso listed above, I have observed all competition rules as well as all regulations established for amateur radio in my country. My report is correct and true to the best of my knowledge. I agree to be bound by the decisions of the Awards Committee.

Date: Dec. 10, 2004 Signed: Joseph H. Taylor, Jr. Call: K1JT
