07/05/2007 | K8MP "Team Papworth", made up of K8MP (The Ol' Man) and KB8ENW (The Junior Op), ran a 2B-2 operation from Delaware County, Ohio, and we had a ball.
The equipment performed flawlessly. Well, almost flawlessly. (The fishing reel on the antenna launcher bit the dust, but it happened after shooting the last antenna line we needed to launch).
A big thank you to our hosts, Dave and Joni Jeffery, whose 10-acre pond, big trees, and barn, made for a great Field Day site.
