07/01/2007 | W5HTK Enid, OK was the site of W5HTK and the Enid ARC FD 2007.

The city park setting worked wonders this year and in previous FD efforts. This club is very successful in bringing served agencies to the FD site and is very hospitable in doing so. And, the Enid ARC works throughout the year in many public events and emergency communications circumstances. Many thanks to the Enid ARC for their solid community service and splendid outreach and interfacing with Amateur Radio outside their immediate area. As we know, the extent to which we work beyond our communities often defines our success in emergency situations. Thanks to club President Al-KD5BA and Vice-President Mike-KD5OFF for their leadership and communication to Section level leadership. Sure appreciate Eddie-K5EMS Assistant OK SM for his visit and pictures of the Enid ARC FD site.
