07/01/2007 | W5PAA The Bridgecreek Fire Department in central OK was the FD site for two club 2007 FD effort.

The Aeronatutical Center (FAA) and the OKC Autopatch Club (OCAPA) combined forces to make Field Day a splendid tag team event. Individually and combined these clubs are powerful forces in public service, training, and preparation for Amateur Radio making huge differences in our mission. These groups have proven themselves to be skilled emergency communicators, mentors and helped shape a dynamic presence for Amateur Radio in central Oklahoma and way beyond including other parts of Oklahoma and other states in time of need.

Thanks to Paula-AD5VL President of OCAPA and Mike-KE5EQC President of the FAA club for their respective club stewardship and encouragment of club activity. Enjoyed also visiting Stan-WA7WNM at FD while getting a summary of wonderful projects deep in process.
