2007 ARRL Field Day
This was another fine Field Day with a combined effort by the Minnesota QRP Society and the St. Croix Valley Radio Amateurs. We were comfortable thanks to our hosts, Rob K0CD and his XYL Carol. Phil N0OE, Cathy N5WVR and Eric N0NKI from the qrp club really pitched in to get things going. The Wisconsin hams showed us their eagerness to join in. The sunny weather kept the solar panels working overtime. I didn't notice a single mosquito! This year we actually had a six meter contact and attempted one via satellite.
I think all-in-all we had a great time.

Thanks again for hosting the Field Day at your QTH. I really appreciated the time. Things can be real frustrating when they don't go as planned, but that only points out the need for better planning.
I feel like I learn something every year

Good participation this year, the weather participated with plenty of sun. Maybe we will have a satellite QSO next year. K0TCP and N0NKI made a valiant effort for a satellite OSO but did not cash in. Special thanks for all who participated. Patrick Sperry ( No Call ), K0TCP, K0CD, N5WVR, N0OE, KA9PKK, N0NKI, W0NLY, KB9LUG, and N9XYX. -- K0CD
