08/16/2007 | K0QH Just wanted to say my results this year may have been small but I had a lot of fun doing it and want to thank those that copied my weak signal. I was battery powered QRP with my FT-817 (5 watts) set up at work. Setting up at 11pm in the dark with an untried portable ant was a challenge that went better than expected. This was also my first time to use a straight key on CW for many years. I missed being with our local club D.O.E.R.S. ARC,K0QOD, but must say if you can't be with your club, go and try it on your own. 73 and see you next year.
