11/04/2007 | N4LS Field Day 2007 was conducted mobile in Arizona while camping in a remote area on the side of Mt Lemmonnear Tucson, AZ. I used a variety of hamstick antennas as well as a BuddiStick with an 80m coil attached to a Diamond K400 mount. I operated 10-80 meters on Phone and CW. Mobile ham radio is a realistic challenge for emergency operations plus its fun. My rig is a Kenwood TS480SAT with 100 watts out. Vehicle is a 4x4 Toyota FJ Cruiser. -- N4LS
