11/28/2007 | KE5LOT The Hays Caldwell Amateur Radio Club participated in Field Day again from the South Hays County Fire Station in San Marcos, Texas. We participated as a Class 2F entry, using our shiny new club callsign, KE5LOT. Our GoTA station used the call AD5JT. This was our second year to participate in ARRL Field Day; last year the group used W5ESE for the primary call, and KD5MMM for the GoTA station. This year, we added a VHF operating position to our station, and enjoyed making some contacts on 6 and 2 meters. Operators participating included WA5AU, W5ESE, K5GWC, AD5JT, KD5MML, KD5MMM, and KD5WKO. -- W5ESE
