07/16/2007 | N8CMZ Bands were dead in Northeast Ohio except for some e-skip stations on 10 meters who weren't in the contest. My FT-817 running 5 watts SSB to a dipole on 10M & 20M & 40M struggled mightily to make any contacts. Probably the worst band conditions in a contest I ever experienced. Finally, just gave up.
