07/20/2007 | HG6M Tomi HA7RY invited the HA5HRK-HG6M team to try out his exceptionally good QTH in the contest. The CONDX at the bottom of sun cycles meant additional challenge for us and we were happy to say YES to Tomis invitation.

We enjoyed the contest very much on all bands and all modes of operation. The Es openings made daytime DXing sometimes difficult but we were compensated by the great European runs on 10m. The night provided lots of DX contacts on 40m and also we were delighted by 160m EU pile ups. We will remember the after-contest BBQ and XYL Ildis and daughter Zitas hospitality too.

We had fun in the contest thank you for all of you answering our calls. See you again in 2008 IARU HF World Championship hopefully under better CONDX.
