08/02/2007 | W8JMF I had a blast in this contest. I had 4 vintage operating positions set up using 1 antenna, a G5RV up 20 meters, for 75-15 and a 1/2 wave vertical for 10 meters, where I was least active. I ran all SSB and managed contacts to all continents except Asia, working DX on all 5 bands. My most memorable contact was with W1AW/4 on 75 Meters where a quiet band Sunday morning, coupled with my reportedly big signal, apparently almost knocked the operator out of his seat. All logging was done on paper at my "time capsule" station. Can't wait for the next one.
