09/18/2007 | W1AUV I love this contest: I love the challenge of getting the equipment ready and figuring out where I am going. This year, where to go was harder because my local mountain, Greylock, was closed while they rebuild the road.

So I had to come up with a new plan. I went to some new spots that had limited views but great potential. While activity seemed lower in the Northeast (probably due to the bad weather/wind on the first day of both weekends) I was happy with my effort.

Thanks to everyone who worked me or tried. I hope to do it again next year bigger and better!
