09/27/2007 | W6CWX First time out for the microwave contest. I worked with K6JEY and others on Signal Hill. My first contact was with Frank 4C2WH 1247km away. I was using a DB6NT transverter/FT817 for a radio and a 16dbi horn. Signals were excellent both ways. What a way to start in microwaves! -- W6CWX
