This was my best September VHF QSO Party ever from EN91 in Ohio. Once again, I was running QRP with a Yaesu FT-817 at 5 watts into a MFJ dipole at 25 feet on 6M and 2M. I was able to work stations from Texas to Florida on 6M during a brief E's opening on Saturday. 2M was the most active I have ever experienced during a VHF contest because of good tropo propogation with the most QSO's made ever on 2M. Using CW and and my new 1 X 2 vanity call [ex-N8CMZ] sure does help with weak signal work to add those extra contacts, and grid squares. Can't wait for 2008 ARRL January VHF Sweepstakes contest. I had FUN !!! Bob -- N8QE
